Hi, I’m Pedro Martins

I’m originally from Coimbra, Portugal, and I now call Ireland my home.

My journey with photography began quietly, capturing portraits. Over time, this naturally evolved into documenting couples and weddings. But no matter who or what I am photographing, my focus remains the same: human connection.

I believe the most beautiful images happen when you forget the camera is even there. Because of this, I always like to take the time to talk with you beforehand, to understand your story and who you are. My favorite part of this work is watching the initial nerves fade away, leaving only genuine, unscripted moments—people just being themselves, happy and present. I want to document what things actually felt like, not just what they looked like.

I care deeply about the craft. I shoot with a Leica SL, and I always carry my analog cameras with me. There is a timeless, honest, and beautifully imperfect quality to film that feels incredibly human.

When I’m not behind the lens, my life is pretty simple. I love hiking, getting lost in photography books, traveling for good food, and spending quiet days at home with my dog and my cat.

Whether it’s a wedding celebration, a quiet afternoon with your partner, or an honest portrait, your story deserves to be told.
